on March 15, 2010 at 11:17 pm@tomsfrenchspectacula, I love Bill as much as anyone and I’m also a smoker, but pancreatic cancer ‘is’ linked to smoking. However, cancer is also linked to poor diet, various drugs and alcohol and even lack of excersize. It’s when you put these risk factors together that you increase your chances of chronic illness dramatically and Bill had a history of all these factors.

on March 15, 2010 at 11:17 pmSmoking didn’t cause it, he complained about a pain in his side his entire adult life, even before he started smoking. I’m not going to do the research and see if a couple of years of chainsmoking can cause a tumor on your pancreas but it’s doubtful.
