Do You Really Want to Stop Smoking Right Now?

This isn’t a sales page, folks, I want to ask a serious question. If you’re smoking now and someone offered you a way to quit smoking right now, would you use it?
If you are anything like me, that question causes a moment of interior panic, especially if you aren’t suffering any bad physical effects from smoking at the moment. When you’re coughing your lungs out in the morning with your first cigarette you probably want to quit at that moment. But that passes. Or maybe you’ve just gone over your expenses for the month and realized you basically set fire to over three hundred dollars last month. That makes you want to quit smoking right now, doesn’t it? But somehow we find the money and carry on.
If you try to quit smoking for good and you don’t truly want to, from the bottom of your soul all the way up, then none of the stop smoking aids are going to help. Champix, Nicocure, any of the other aids for stopping smoking, none of them will help.
The only thing that might help you stop smoking is hypnosis. I know several people it has worked for. One session and they never smoked again. There’s no need for expesive individual sessions either. Group hypnosis in large theaters seems to work just as well. Hypnosis is the only method that aligns the unconscious and conscious minds so that all of you wants to quit.
Other stop smoking aids seem to work quite well. For a while. When you start a regimen of Nicocure or Champix, you’re usually pretty motivated at a conscious level. You’ll probably quit for a few weeks or months. Then the old unconscious kicks in and before you know it you’re back up to a pack a day. This happens because you haven’t resolved all the unconscious drives that make up your identity and are associated with smoking cigarettes.
The mind is a complicated phenomenon and it is quite possible for one part of the brain to be in complete conflict with another. Its this conflict between various parts of the mind that makes it almost impossible to quit smoking forever.
Chemical stop smoking aids only work on one part of the process. Conditioning tools like a stop smoking meter also don’t do anything to resolve those conflicts.
If you have the tools to align all the parts of the brain and get them running in the same direction, it is possible to stop smoking now. Its not only possible, its inevitable. Unfortunately, without that agreement, quitting smoking becomes a hobby and your failure to give up smoking for good just becomes one more stick to beat yourself with when you’re feeling down.
