drugs aren’t required
but there given to us like a gift to use as with good intention
the profound and life changing experiences i had on them were virtualy unmatched by anything on earth
to say someone can live a full life with out them is a empty statement
i recommend reading DMT the spirt molecule or just checking out some of terence mckenna works

on March 27, 2010 at 3:19 amYou are comparing drugs to something that is necessary for humanity to survive. We survived before drugs, and we don’t NEED them. WE DONT NEED THEM. Do you get that? We need to carry on the human race in order to survive, but we do NOT need to do drugs such as pot to survive, nor SHOULD we need pot. I assume you are talking about pot when you say drugs, but if you aren’t then whatever. Pot is NOT the next evolutionary step. My mind works FINE without it, and I shouldn’t NEED it.

As for me, I don’t need a “spiritual” experience with mind altering drugs. That’s stupid. I would rather have spiritual experiences by doing noble things, which is how spiritual experiences actually happen. I can live my life without messing with my head, and if you can’t, I pity you.

well other than alcohol ,cigs and unprescribed drugs that can have a very negative effect on you
i would have to respectfully disagree with you when comes to all drugs
Natural Drugs that we know now like pot, mushrooms, DMT , salvia ect.
can have a profound spiritual effect on people’s lives with minimal effect on the body when used appropriately
Yet as u implied u don’t need it to live or enjoy life
much like u don’t need love to live

Life is too short, make what you can of it.
Drugs amount to nothing. Pot, for example, is illegal, not because of the most common reasons, but because people abuse it, such as people who get high. It is a prescribed drug, and should only be taken as such. Beer amounts to nothing, smoking amounts to nothing. Those drugs can all be synonymous with another well known word: Placebo. There is not positive effects to the current use of those drugs. I don’t even take prescription drugs, but that’s me.
